Journal of the survey of the northwest boundary line of the New Brunswick Land Company’s [sic] purchase. – 21 November 1833-8 January 1834. – 16 pp. of textual records. The author’s name is unknown. The report highlights the difficulties survey parties faced during the course of their work due to terrain, inclement weather, provisioning, and encounters with wildlife. It also provides details as to native species of trees, landmarks, and the origins of local place names.
